I got my first camera for Christmas when I was 7. I've been using photography as a creative outlet since college.
My "why" is deeply tied to time.
I'm acutely aware of how quickly childhood moves. I know how easy it is to miss documenting these seasons until they’ve already passed. I photograph families the way I wish seasons would have been documented for me.
I believe when I snap my camera, I freeze time, documenting this beautiful, ordinary, magical human existence, creating a treasure chest of memories that can be felt and revisted for a life time.

Photography is only part of what makes me, me. I am a mama of 2 beautiful and wild humans. We love camping and traveling together. I need equal parts alone time and connection. I love all things mythical/ magic, self-development, and being in nature is my happy place.
When I'm not doing my photography thing, I'm loving on my people and commiting to finding joy and balance anywhere I can.
